Razzie Awards 2017: la lista dei peggiori film dello scorso anno!
I Razzie Awards nascono nel 1981 per volontà di John J. B. Wilson, pubblicitario statunitense: chiamati in realtà, Golden Raspberry Awards, cioè Lamponi Dorati, vengono chiamati Razzie per la somiglianza col verbo inglese “to razz”, cioè “prendere in giro”.
Le statuette, lamponi appoggiati a nastri Super8 del valore complessivo di 4.97 dollari, vengono assegnati a Los Angeles, il giorno prima dei più famosi ed attesi fratelli maggiori Academy Awards, ai film peggiori dell’anno passato: si premiano, se così si può dire, tantissime categorie, includendo non solo i film, la regia e la sceneggiatura, ma anche le singole interpretazioni degli attori coinvolti. Piccola differenza dagli Oscar: la stessa persona può essere nominata per più titoli!
Nella storia dei Razzie Awards, alcuni nomi hanno davvero ottenuto un incredibile successo: Sandra Bullock, per esempio, è l’unica ad aver ricevuto nello stesso anno sia Razzie che Oscar (2010), Sylvester Stallone ha ottenuto ben 10 premi (su ben 31 nomination), compreso il titolo di “Peggior attore del XX secolo” – statuetta che, al femminile, è andata a Madonna – mentre Adam Sandler, nello stesso anno, ha ottenuto i premi come Peggior Attore e Peggior Attrice, per il film Jack e Jill (ad oggi l’unico film ad aver vinto in tutte le categorie).
Le nomination ai Razzie Awards 2017 sono, come sempre, divertenti e spietate: il più nominato è Batman V Superman, ma non mancano candidature per Suicide Squad, Collateral Beauty (il cui cast è stato quasi interamente preso in considerazione), Indipendence Day e Zoolander 2.
